 Review by Senator Bill Morrison

I found this book in the Scotia bank book sale.  I am a King fan and was looking for this publication but never stumbled on to it earlier.  So, maybe this is fate, I got the book and had a read.
It is a little paperback, part of the CBC Massey Lectures.  The stories are quite wide ranging and certainly give King’s perspective on the issues of history, religion and politics.  He is a very deep and witty writer and one that can be entertaining to many levels of reader.
I am a novice read and found the 5 stories simple and very humorous in many respects.
This book is strongly recommended for many, if you are interested in North American culture, from a different view.
